Autoglym's own research found bird dropping damage isn't caused by any corrosive property in the deposit, as is commonly believed — it happens because the paint lacquer contracts as it cools and molds around the texture of the hardened deposit. The fix either way is the same: get it off before it hardens.

These pre-moistened wipes are designed to soften the deposit rather than requiring you to scrub it off dry, which is what risks scratching the paint.

How To Use

Place the wipe over the dropping and let it sit for a moment to soften the deposit before wiping.
Never rub a dry, hardened dropping — this is what risks scratching the paintwork. If it's already hard, let the wipe sit on it longer to soften first.
After use, dispose of the wipe and wash your hands — bird droppings can carry contaminants.
